WHEN TARIQ ALI MET MALCOLM X

A one-hour documentary focusing on a short period in Britain in 1964/65 when America's Malcolm X met and befriended
the radical British Marxist, Tariq Ali. The documentary centres on Malcolm's visit to the UK where he met Tariq Ali, the radical British Marxist, at the University of Oxford Union's end-of-term "Queen and Country" debate, three months before Malcolm was assassinated in New York. Tariq Ali retraces their footsteps of 53 years ago and, aided by archive film from the time, puts into context Malcolm X's British legacy and asks what he means to young British blacks today.

BLACK POWER SALUTE

A film about one of the most iconic images of the 20th century. The untold history behind one of the most controversial moments in Olympic history; the iconic moment from the Civil Rights era, when athletes Tommie Smith and John Carlos raised their fists on the victory stand at the 1968 Olympics to protest at the racism they experienced on and off the track.
